BT Sport will remain as the Professional Squash Association's (PSA) official broadcast partner in Britain following the renewal of a multi-year partnership.

BT Sport has telecasted the PSA World Championships, Platinum Tour events and the PSA World Tour Finals in Britain since 2015 and the new deal is set to see the partnership extend to over a decade.

"We are delighted to renew our partnership with BT Sport and are thankful for their continued commitment to the sport," said PSA chief operating officer Lee Beachill.

"Since the beginning of our partnership in 2015, we have worked closely with BT Sport to broadcast our incredible athletes to our passionate audience in the United Kingdom.

"Together with BT Sport, we have also taken advantage of growing technological trends to help drive the sport forward, notably becoming the first racket sport to be broadcast in UltraHD.

"We look forward to continuing and enhancing our relationship with BT Sport in the coming seasons."

Brokered by Infront, the PSA's strategic commercial partner, the renewal will see BT Sport telecast extended tournament highlights from the World Tour.

"It’s fantastic news for squash fans that we are continuing our long-term partnership with the PSA and that they will be able to continue watching all of the top-flight action live on BT Sport," Rachel Knight, sports rights director, BT Sport, said.

Infront vice-president media, betting and technology Amikam Kranz, said the appeal for squash in the United Kingdom was crucial in securing the deal.
