Spain will meet Portugal in the final of the men's rink hockey competition at the World Roller Games in Nanjing.

The two European neighbours both came through their semi-final clashes in the Chinese city today to seal their spots in the showpiece game.

Both last four contests were one-sided affairs with Spain easing past Italy 4-0.

It was a strategic match with Spain pulling away in the second half after taking a 1-0 lead into the break.

The Portuguese ended the reign of defending champions Argentina with a thumping 5-0 win.

Helder Nunes bagged a hat-trick and Reinaldo Ventura helped himself to a double in the rout.

Angelo Girao, who kept the Argentinian forwards at bay in the Portugal goal, also had a starring role to play.

The final will take place tomorrow when Italy and Argentina will meet for the bronze medal.
