Wales' Laura Daniels and England's Donna Knight each continued their good form at the World Bowls Singles Champion of Champions in Sydney 

Daniels, the women’s singles gold medallist at the 2015 World Indoor Championships, leads section two of the women's event at the  St Johns Park Bowling Club with 12 points and 26 shots.

Knight is top of the standings in section one with 12 points and 16 shots.

In the corresponding men's draw, Guernsey's Todd Priaulx leads section one with 18 points and 48 shots.

Derek Oliver of Scotland's is top of the second section with 15 points and 29 shots.

Qualifying rounds are taking place over the first five days of competition.

The semi-finals are scheduled to be held on Saturday (November 4) and will be followed by the finals on Sunday (November 5).

The annual World Bowls Singles Champion of Champions was first held in Australian town Moama.

This year’s edition is the 15th in history.

Australia's Scott Thulborn and Natasha Scott were the winners of last year's respective men's and women's events in Brisbane.
