The International Cycling Union (UCI) Mountain Bike World Cup in Leogang in Austria is set to stage the first triple-header of this season.

The cross-country short track (XCC), cross-country Olympic (XCO) and downhill races are all scheduled to take place across the three-day event.

The men’s and women’s elite events are due to open tomorrow with the DHI qualifying round as the XCC final takes centre stage.

Germany’s Luca Schwarzbauer and Australia’s Rebecca McConnell are expected to be among the favourites to secure the XCC crowns.

Finals for the men’s and women’s elite downhill are then planned to be held on Saturday (June 11).

The hosts' Valentina Höll and France’s Amaury Pierron could prove to be the ones to beat in the women’s and men’s event respectively.

On Sunday (June 12), the XCO races are set to take place with Nino Schurter of Switzerland still looking to secure the record for most single World Cup wins.
