Silvaplana will host the final round of the International Ski Federation (FIS) Freestyle World Cup season.

Competition will take place over two days in Switzerland, with the venue located in the Engadine valley, near the town of St Mortiz.

Men’s and women’s qualifiers are set to be staged tomorrow, with the finals being held on Saturday (March 30).

United States’ Mac Forehand tops the men’s leaderboard having accrued 227 points.

The 17-year-old’s hopes of taking the overall title were boosted by victory at the fifth event of the campaign at Mammoth Mountain Resort in California.

Canada’s Max Moffatt also boasts a World Cup victory this season and lies second overall on 214 points.

Ferdinand Dahl is third in the standings, the Norwegian having earned 195 points.

Switzerland’s Sarah Hoefflin will hope to secure the women’s title in front of her home crowd.

She triumphed in the World Cup round in Font Romeu in France and also has second and fourth places to her name.

Hoefflin’s efforts have seen her secure 257 points this season, with her compatriot Mathilde Gremaud second on 206.

United States’ Eileen Gu completes the top three on 204.
