Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón have won another Premier Padel event as they secured the gold medal at the Paris Major.

It is the second Major the world number ones have won this season after also triumphing in the Rome tournament in May.

The Spaniards defeated Argentina's Juan Tello and Federico Chingotto in the final at Roland Garros in the French capital which gave them 2,000 points towards their International Padel Federation ranking.

The fourth seeds put up a good fight but could not provide the upset as they eventually succumbed to a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 defeat in 1hr 47min.

Both pairs were impressive with their first serve, with the Spaniards edging it by 95 per cent accuracy to 94 per cent.

Chingotto and Tello were let down by their finishing on service games as they only won 55 points out of 84 on their first serve, compared to their opponent's 54 of 69.

Galán and Lebrón have the chance to impress in front of a home crowd next month as Madrid is set to host the next Premier Padel stop from August 1 to 6 before athletes head to Mendoza in Argentina from August 8 to 14.
