Spanish top seeds Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán came from a set down to defeat the second seeds Francisco Navarro and Martin Di Nenno in the final of the Premier Padel Major in Rome.

Lebrón and Galán won their quarter-final over 13th seeds Agustín Gutierrez of Argentina and Jon Sanz Zalba from Spain 6-4, 6-3.

They then made the final by beating fifth seeds Fernando Belasteguin of Argentina and Spain's Arturo Coello 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

Navarro from Spain and Di Nenno from Argentina defeated Spanish sixth seeds Jeronimo González and Alejandro Ruiz in the quarter-finals 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, before beating Argentine fourth seeds Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello in the semi-finals 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Lebrón and Galán lost the first set, but defeated the second seeds 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.

It was a fitting response to their defeat to Navarro and Di Nenno in the final of the Qatar Major.

The next Major is scheduled to take place from July 11 to 17 in Paris, followed by the Mexico Major from November 28 to December 4.
