The Paris Major Premier Padel competition is set to take place at the revered Roland Garros from tomorrow, bringing together some of the best players in the sport.

It is the second Major organised by the International Padel Federation (FIP) this season following on from Rome in May.

The main draw is to start tomorrow, with qualification for that starting today.

Spanish pair Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón, the world number ones, will look to mirror their victory in Rome as the top seeds.

Francisco Navarro of Spain and Martin Di Nenno from Argentina are the second seeds who will look to make the final and get revenge against Galán and Lebrón, who they lost to in Rome despite leading the match.

Franco Stupaczuk of Argentina and Brazil's Pablo Lima are the third seeds while Argentine pair Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello are fourth-seeded.

Fernando Belasteguin of Argentina and Spain's Arturo Coello are seeded fifth and will be hoping to reach the semi-finals again, like they did in Rome.

Spanish sixth seeds Jeronimo González and Alejandro Ruiz were knocked out in the quarter-finals stage by Navarro and Di Nenno in Rome and will look to improve on that in Paris.

A total of 48 teams have made the main draw so far, with another 32 to come through qualification.

Competition is scheduled to end on July 17.
