Brazil and Poland are set to meet in the final of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Volleyball Men's Nations League (VNL), following semi-final victories today in Rimini in Italy.

First, Brazil defeated France in straight sets 25-20, 25-18, 25-19 and were helped to the win by Yoandy Leal who struck 20 times to get the South Americans to their first final.

In the round-robin phase, Brazil had lost to their opponents, but found a way to emerge victorious today.

Wallace added another 13 points, while Mauricio contributed five of his team's nine blocks.

Even if Brazil lose, it will be their first ever VNL medal after twice making the semi-finals, when they lost both the final four and bronze medal matches at the 2018 and 2019 editions.

Poland also won in three close sets, defeating Slovenia 25-22, 25-21, 25-23 in the second game of the day.

Bartosz Kurek managed 14 points while team mate Leon Venero Wilfredo bagged 11 too.

Slovenian captain Urnaut Tine scored 13 points himself, but his efforts were not enough to convert a set in favour of his team.

Slovenia are scheduled to play France for the bronze medal, while Poland will meet Brazil for gold tomorrow.
