Two countries will book their places at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women's Baseball World Cup through the Pan American qualifier in Dominican Republic, which begins tomorrow.

The host nation will be joined by Argentina, Puerto Rico and Mexico at the Estadio Quisqueya in capital city Santo Domingo.

All four sides will play each other in a round-robin with the top two booking their spots at this year's World Cup in Viera in Florida.

Tomorrow's opening games will see the host nation play Argentina with Puerto Rico colliding with Mexico.

The Puerto Ricans are the only country who have graced the World Cup stage before, in 2010.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday (March 25) with the qualified nations joining hosts United States, Canada, Cuba, Venezuela, Japan, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, The Netherlands and Australia in booking their spots in Viera.

World Cup action will take place at the USSSA Space Coast Complex between August 22 and 31.
