The umpires and match referees for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy being staged in England and Wales have been confirmed.

A total of 12 umpires have been selected to officiate at the tournament taking place between June 1 and 18.

All are members of the ICC Elite Panel and include Pakistan's Aleem Dar, who will be featuring in his fifth Champions Trophy, while England's Ian Gould is set to appear in his third.

Sri Lankan Kumar Dharmasena, South Africa's Marais Erasmus, Australian duo Bruce Oxenford and Rod Tucker and England's Richard Kettleborough and Nigel Llong will be appearing for a second time at the tournament.

New Zealand's Rod Gaffaney, Paul Reiffel of Australia, Indian Sundaram Ravi and England's Richard Illingworth will all be making their tournament debuts as umpires.

A trio of match referees have also been named and all are former international cricketers.

Chris Broad played for England in 25 Tests and 34 One-Day Internationals (ODI) while David Boon represented Australia in 107 Tests and 181 ODIs, including being part of the 1987 World Cup winning squad.

Andy Pycroft, who played three Tests and 20 ODIs for Zimbabwe, is the third referee to be selected.

The ICC have confirmed the officiating line-ups for all of the group games.

A decision on the umpires and match referees for the semi-finals and final will be decided once the teams who will be contesting them are known.
