The mandates of the Commission Members are from January 2015 until the next AIBA Congress later this year.

All Commissions will have held their first meetings, as well as a Joint Meeting from February 3 to 5 in Lausanne.

"I am very proud and happy to have found highly competent and knowledgeable boxing members to take part in all Commissions' work," said President Wu.

"I believe that these members will greatly contribute to the further enhancement of our sport and continuous success of our organisation."

French Sydney 2000 Olympic champion Brahim Asloum was named chairperson of the AIBA Pro Boxing Commission while former Soviet two-time European champion and Moscow 1980 silver medallist Serik Konakbayev will chair the respective Athletes' and Youth Commissions.

Highly decorated Cuban coach Pedro Roque Otano will lead the Coaches Commission, with Tommy Morrison's former trainer Tom Virgets chair of the Disciplinary Commission.

Swiss sports and media lawyer François Carrard was announced as chair of the Ethics Commission, while Moroccan Abdelhamid Khadri was made chair of the Medical Commission, and Argentinean Osvaldo Bisbal to the Refereeing and Judging Commission.

Elsewhere, David McDonagh will lead the Scientific Commission, while Adam Kusior was appointed chair of the Technical and Rules Commission and Joyce Bowen will lead the Women's Commission.

Italian Franco Falcinelli, who is President of the European Boxing Confederation, also had his appointment as head of the World Series of Boxing Commission confirmed.
