First ever Paralympic Ball scheduled for London 2012

Paralympic Ball_June_29June 30 - Plans have been unveiled for the first ever Paralympic Ball by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the British Paralympic Association (BPA) with the event set to be a spectacular fundraising evening held on September 5 during London 2012.

Basildon Sporting_Village_June_29June 30 - Fumiyo Minemura, head coach of the Japanese Paralympic swimming squad, has heaped praised on the £38 million ($61 million/€47 million) Basildon Sporting Village which Japan's top Olympic and Paralympic swimmers are using as their pre-London 2012 training camp to finalise their preparations for the Games.




More London 2012 Paralympic Torchbearers announced
