World Taekwondo Europe has staged its first Poomsae Coaches Seminar of the year in Belgium.

The event took place at the De Soeverein venue in Lommel under the guidance of lecturer Mustafa Mutarazak.

It occurred on the sidelines of the Belgian Open competition, which took place across three days.

Those taking part had the chance to enhance their knowledge and skills regarding the rules and regulations for poomsae taekwondo.

All in attendance were also provided with "essential" information to become authorised to coach athletes at the European Poomsae Championships, with a two-year license.

Currently not on the Olympic programme, poomsae is a non-sparring event where individuals or teams perform a "sequence of movements arranged in a meaningful order in response to attacks from multiple imaginary assailants".
