The latest Para Table Tennis Rankings for April have confirmed the qualification of 109 athletes for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

A total of 91 players secured their positions by competing in the 2023 International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) PTT Regional Championships prior to the ranking. Looking ahead, athletes will have the chance to qualify with the release of the doubles rankings on 22 April, followed by the World Qualifying Event taking place in Pattaya, Thailand, from 23-25 May.

Jan Riapos and José Manuel Ruiz Reyes will make Paralympic history at Paris 2024 as the first eight-time Paralympians. They started their journey in Atlanta 1996, then Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020 and now Paris.

Slovakia's Riapos will be looking to add to his collection of four Class 2 gold medals and two bronze medals, while Spain's Ruiz Reyes will be seeking his first Class 10 gold medal after winning previously three silvers and two bronzes.

Another Paralympic record is about to be broken as the following Para table tennis players are all aiming for a fourth consecutive gold medal: Liu Jing, China; Kelly Van Zon, Netherlands; Zhang Bian, China; Zhou Ying, China; and Lei Li Na, Australia.

China, Korea and hosts France top the Para Table Tennis rankings with 20, 16 and 14 players respectively having already secured their places in Paris.
