Serbian taekwondo expert Dragan Jović led a training camp for athletes in Tunisia.

The Serbian was welcomed in the North African country at Tunis-Carthage International Airport before putting the young group through their paces.

Jović has been involved with taekwondo since 1987 and has coached since 1991.

He opened the Club Galeb dojang in Belgrade and has produced stars including Milica Mandić, who won Olympic gold in the over-67 kilograms heavyweight division at both London 2012 and Tokyo 2020.

Mandić also won the world title in 2017 in Muju.

Tijana Bogdanović, who won 49kg silver at Rio 2016 and bronze at Tokyo 2020, was also coached by Jović.

It means that Jović has produced all four of Serbia's Olympic medals in taekwondo.

In January, he was named as best coach at the Olympic Committee of Serbia's awards for the third time.

Tunisia has begun to establish itself as a force in taekwondo after picking up a medal at the last two Olympic Games.

Oussama Oueslati won bronze in the men's 80kg at Rio 2016, and Mohamed Khalil Jendoubi went one better at Tokyo 2020, taking home silver in the men's 58kg.

"In a short time, we focused on regional teams and organised a training forum for them under the supervision of one of the best experts in the world, Dragan Jović," said Professor Mohamed Ghannam, the President of the Tunisian Taekwondo Federation.
