The German trio proved dominant in the final, where they secured a 17-7 win over their Indian opponents.

Martin Strnad, Martin Podhrasky and Tomas Tehan won the bronze medal for the Czech Republic in comfortable fashion.

The Czech team enjoyed a 17-0 win over Indonesia’s Totok Tri Martanto, Anang Yulianto and Dewa Putu Yadi Suteja of Indonesia.

India’s Anish added to his silver medal in the mixed team 25 metres rapid fire pistol competition, alongside Rhythm Sangwan.

The duo led the first stage of qualification, before settling for second place behind Thailand’s Chaswisa Paduak and Ram Khamhaeng in the second stage.

Paduak and Khamhaeng achieved a score of 381 points to advance to the gold medal match in first place, with Anish and Sangwan following on 370.

The final saw a reversal of fortunes, with Anish and Sangwan earning a 17-7 victory to claim top spot on the podium.

The bronze medal match saw a closely contested match between teams from Singapore and Indonesia.

Singapore’s Teo Shun Xie and Lim Swee Hon earned the final podium spot, courtesy of a narrow 16-14 win over Talitha Judith Almira and Toktok Tri Martanto.

India finished the World Cup as the most successful nation, winning four gold medals, two silver and one bronze.

Norway placed second on three gold, one silver and two bronze, while France were third having secured three gold medals.

A total of 11 nations won gold medals during the World Cup in Egypt’s capital city, which began on February 26.

The next ISSF World Cup on the calendar is a shotgun competition at Nicosia, with events due to take place in Cyprus from March 12 to 17.
