India moved top of the medal table at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Cairo after earning a second gold of the competition in the women's team 10 metres air pistol event.

Ruchita Vinerkar, Esha Singh and Shri Nivetha Paramanantham overcame their opponents from Germany in Andrea Katharina Heckner, Carina Wimmer and Sandra Reitz 16-8 in the final contest of the day at the Egypt International Olympic City Shooting Range.

India are the only nation who have won more than one gold medal at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo.

Wu Chia-ying, Tien Chia-chen and Yu Ai-wen had earlier beaten Singapore's Teo Shun Xie, Teh Xiu Hong and Mak Amanda Sao Keng by the same scoreline to clinch bronze in the women's team 10m air pistol.

Germany's Robin Walter, Michael Schwald and Philipp Grimm impressed in their 16-0 thrashing of Turkey in the men's team 10m air pistol final, with Italy taking bronze courtesy of a 16-6 win against India.

Olympic silver medallist Damir Mikec and Zorana Arunović triumphed for Serbia in the mixed team 10m air pistol, beating Turkey 17-9 in the final.

Germany and Greece both took bronze medals after falling just short in part one of the final stage.

In the 10m air rifle events, Norway were first to earn gold courtesy of Jeanette Hegg Duestad and Jon-Hermann Hegg.

They secured a narrow 17-15 win against Italy's Sofia Ceccarello and Danilo Dennis Sollazzo in the mixed team final.

Serbia and Croatia earned the bronze medals.

Miran Maričić, Petar Gorša and Borna Petanjek secured Croatia's first gold of the World Cup in the men's team event, with Italy forced to settle for another silver after losing 16-10 in the final.

Czech Republic edged past Austria 16-14 to rank third.

Hungarian trio Gitta Bajos, Eszter Denes and Eszter Meszaros came out on top in the women's team competition, seeing off Norway 17-13.

Bronze went to Singapore with a 16-8 victory over Poland.

The ISSF World Cup is set to continue tomorrow with the start of the women's 25m pistol and the men's 50m rifle three positions events.
