World Para Dance Sport has announced three competitions will be held in the lead-up to the 2021 World Championships in South Korea.

Ulsan was named as host of the flagship event earlier this month, with competition due to take place from November 26 to 28 at the Munsu Gymnasium.

Competitors will first have the chance to warm-up for the event at a World Cup in Genoa between June 4 and 6.

This will be the first World Para Dance Sport competition in a year and a half as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the 2019 World Championships in Bonn the last event held.

Genoa was due to host the European Championships last year, but the event in the Italian city was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Between August 14 and 15, the Prague 2021 International will be held, with the Lomianki 2021 Polish Open planned for October 8 to 10.

The event in Prague will be the first World Para Dance Sport competition in the Czech Republic.
