The Arbitration and Conciliation Chamber of the Cameroon Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSC) has held its first-ever General Assembly.

A new Code of Arbitration was adopted, signaling the first time since 2016 that it had been altered, while various members were also recognised for promotions.

The two-day meeting was chaired by Joseph Marie Bipoum Woum, President of the Chamber.

Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, CNOSC President and also Confederation of African Athletics President, was also present.

Addressing the gathering, Malboum said it was a "great honour and an immense privilege" to be invited.

The CNOSC President said that he hoped organised sport could return to Cameroon soon, perhaps by September, having observed resumptions elsewhere.

Malboum added: "I think we need to prepare ourselves, and I appreciate your initiative to hold the General Assembly."
