The Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee has awarded certificates to participants of its sports management course ©CNOSC

The Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSC) presented certificates to the 19 participants who completed an advanced course for sports managers. 

The ceremony was staged at CNOSC headquarters in Nkol-Eton in Yaounde, as reported by the Cameroon Tribune

The six-month course was held in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee.

It aimed to educate individuals on promoting ethics and good governance within their respective organisations, in accordance with the vision of the Olympic Movement.

Topics such as sports management, the structuring and management of an Olympic sports organisation, sports marketing, human resource and finance management and sponsoring were taught.  

CNOSC President Kalkaba Malboum, recently re-elected as Confederation of African Athletics President, was in attendance to congratulate the participants on their achievements. 

The ceremony was also used to launch the training of a new batch of students in what will be the fifth edition of the course.
