The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) has opened the bidding process for the 2022 Goalball World Championships.
Both men's and women's tournaments will be held with each serving as a key qualifier for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Action will take place between the proposed Championship dates of May 1 and December 1 in 2022.
Interested host nations have been asked to submit a letter of intent to the IBSA Goalball Subcommittee "as soon as possible".
A deadline for official bids has been set as June 28 and applicants will be notified of their status no later than December 13.
The Goalball World Championships are held every four years with Malmö in Sweden playing host to the last edition in 2018.
Brazil successfully defended their men's crown while Russia claimed gold in the women's event.
