Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan won two gold medals each in the women's freestyle wrestling events at the Grand Prix de France Henri Deglane in Nice.

Azerbaijan won gold in the 57 kilograms category through Alyona Kolesnik, who defeated Kyrgyzstan's Nuraida Anarkulova in the final at the Salle Serge Leyrit.

Kyrgyzstan also claimed the bronze medal in that category, with Aibike Artykali Kyzy beating Graciela Sanchez of Spain in the third-place bout.

Azerbaijan's second gold came in the 65kg final, with Iryna Netreba overcoming Adina Elena Popescu of Romania. 

Aisuluu Tynybekova secured Kyrgyzstan's first gold, defeating France's Pauline Lecarpentier in the 62kg final.

Kriszta Tunde Incze Kriszta of Romania won the bronze medal. 

Meerim Zhumanazarova then won Kyrgyzstan's second gold medal, triumphing against her compatriot Aiperi Medet Kyzy in the final of the 76kg category. 

Russia took bronze medal following Natalia Vorobeva's win against Sabira Aliyeva of Azerbaijan.

Argentinian and Romanian wrestlers won the remaining two gold medals available. 

Patricia Bermudez of Argentina won the 50kg event, beating France's Tabatha Grunewald in the final.

Daria Leksina of Russia took the bronze medal with a victory against Turkan Nasirova of Azerbaijan in the third-place bout. 

Andrea Beatrice Ana of Romania defeated Russia's Aleksandra Skirenko in the final of the 53kg catergory.

France's Tatiana Debien claimed the bronze medal against Marina Rueda of Spain. 

The competition is due continue tomorrow in Nice with the men's freestyle event.
