Today's action at the Artistic Skating World Championships at the Vendéspace rink in Mouilleron-Le-Captif saw Italy awarded nine medals, including four gold.

The Italians won gold, silver and bronze in the senior ladies free skating event. 

Silvia Nemesio came first with 529.600 points, Letizia Ghiroldi was second with 502.600 and Silva Lambruschi finished in third with 485.400.

In the men's free skating event Italy got gold and bronze.

Luca Lucaroni won with 549.000 points, Pere Marsinyach Torrico of Spain got silver with 525.300 and Alessandro Amadesi finished third with 521.600.

Italy also won gold and silver in both the couples dance senior and junior categories.

In the senior event, the gold medal went to Anna Remondini and Daniel Morandin with 321.100 points, with Silvia Stibilj and Andrea Bassi registering 311.700 for silver.

Portugal's duo of Daniela Filipa Lopes Dias and José Pedro Alves Cruzcame came third with 284.800 points.

Asya Sofia Testoni and Giovanni Piccolantonio finished first in the junior event with 314.900 points.

Alessia Benedetto and Emanuele Garbolino were second with 295.450 and the United States' Madison Kellis and Benson Kuan joined them on the podium with 284.050 points for bronze.

Tomorrow will be the last day of action, with the junior and senior couples long events and the quartets, followed by a Closing Ceremony.
