Calvo had already clinched pommel horse gold and was part of Colombia’s victorious squad in the team event at the Centro Eventos Puerta de Oro venue.

He would add the men’s horizontal bar title to his medal haul, as the home favourite achieved a score of 14.300 to top the standings.

Cuba’s Randy Leru and Manrique Larduet would complete the podium places with scores of 14.150 and 14.125 respectively.

Larduet would return to the top of the podium in the men’s parallel bars, having already triumphed in the all round and rings competitions.

He achieved a score of 14.925 points to earn the gold, with Calvo and his fellow Colombian Javier Sandovel trailing behind the winner on 14.825 and 14.200.

The men’s vault title was earned by the Dominican Republic’s Audrys Nin, who averaged a score of 14.600 for his two efforts.

Larduet continued to add to his medal tally by winning silver on 14.575, while Guatemala’s Jorge Vega secured the bronze with 14.037.

Women’s beam and floor titles were also decided, with Puerto Rico’s Bianca Leon winning the former with a score of 12.625.

She was followed by Mexico’s Jimena Moreno and Colombia’s GDayana Ardilla, who managed 12.500 and 12.200 respectively.

Cuba’s Marcia Vidiaux took the floor title after being awarded a score of 13.525, with the Puerto Rican duo of Karelys Diaz and Andrea Maldonado rounding off the podium on 12.650 and 12.375 respectively.

Hosts Colombia were able to celebrate success as the women’s basketball competition reached its conclusion.

They edged Cuba 67-65 in a well fought match to secure gold.

Puerto Rico claimed the bronze by beating Mexico 60-52.

Mexico lead in the overall medals table with 59 golds, with Colombia second on 39.

Cuba are third in the medal standings with 29 gold medals.

The Games are due to continue until August 3.
