Tickets for next year's International Ice Hockey Federation Men's World Championship will go on sale on Friday (September 1).

Fans will be able to secure their place at the flagship event by logging on to the tournament's website.

Day packages will be available from 10am Danish time, with Copenhagen and Herning both hosting matches.

"We are very excited about presenting a price level that makes it possible for everyone to get to experience the Championship," said Danish Ice Hockey Association President Henrik Bach Nielsen.

"Day packages, as an example, are available from as low as €25 (£23/$29) and we are planning for world class fan zones in which fans can find food, a great atmosphere and be entertained throughout the Championship.

"In Herning the celebrations will be taken to the next level with Hockey Camp Herning that offers next-to-the-arena accommodation for fans traveling to the city.
