The Astana Arlans Kazakhstan and Cuba Domadores have weighed-in for the World Series of Boxing (WSB) final, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

Both teams will be aiming for an unprecedented third title when they go toe-to-toe at the Sport Palace Kazakhstan in Astana.

The final will be split into two sessions with the contests at light-flyweight, bantamweight, light-welterweight, middleweight and heavyweight being held during the first.

The second session will be made up of matches at flyweight, lightweight, welterweight, light-heavyweight and super-heavyweight.

If the encounter ends 5-5, a flyweight contest between Astana Arlans' Olzhas Bainiyazov and Domadores' Frank Zaldivar will be held to settle the outcome.

"Every year since its inception, we have seen this unique team competition evolve and grow, developing into one of the most eagerly anticipated and exciting events in the boxing calendar," International Boxing Association President CK Wu said.

"The addition of the team dynamic to what has always been one of the world’s great individual sports has captured the imagination of spectators and franchises alike, its popularity underlining our belief that it is innovations like the WSB that will keep entertaining the fans and breaking new audiences and markets around the world."

Astana Arlans reached the final after claiming a 7-3 aggregate victory over the British Lionhearts.

They will be hoping to end the reign of defending champions Domadores, who beat Colombia Heroicos by the same scoreline in the semi-finals.

The title match's light-flyweight contest pits Astana Arlans' Temirtas Zhussupov against Domadores' Johanys Argilagos and will be followed by a bantamweight battle between Ilyas Suleimenov and Javier Ibañez.

Competing in the first session’s three other categories are light-welterweights Dilmurat Mizhitov and Andy Cruz, middleweights Abilkhan Amankul and Arlen Lopez and heavyweights Anton Pinchuk and Erislandy Savon.

Beginning the second session are flyweights Olzhas Sattibayev and Yosbany Veitia before lightweights Zakir Safiullin and Lazaro Alvarez take centre stage.

Contesting the remaining three categories are welterweights Aslanbek Shymbergenov and Roniel Iglesias, light-heavyweights Arman Rysbek and Julio La Cruz, and super-heavyweights Olzhas Bukayev and Yoandry Toirac.
