The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee and the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation took place at the NOC headquarters. The event was attended by Chingiz Huseynzada, Shahin Bagirov, representatives of the Committee and the Federation.

Both parties want to strengthen the existing cooperation. To this end, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Baku. During the event, the "Complex Development Model" was presented. The model aims at the development of volleyball in the country.

Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee vice-president Chingiz Huseynzada has said he is confident the body will deliver a successful Islamic Solidarity Games next year, when Baku stages the multi-sport event.
