The tournament at the Emirates Arena brings to an end a year that has taken in the European Championships, which were held in Bulgaria in May, last month's Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in China and the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Among the men's field will be German double Olympic horizontal bar medallist and nine-time World Championships medal winner Fabian Hambüchen, Ukrainian parallel bars world and European champion and reigning Glasgow World Cup winner Oleh Vernyayev, triple world bronze medallist John Orozco of the United States and Japan's 2014 World Championships all-around bronze medal winner Yusuke Tanaka.

The host nation is represented by Scottish Commonwealth Games competitor Frank Baines.

Meanwhile on the women's side, Romania's Larisa Iordache will be back in Glasgow to defend the all-around title she claimed at last year's event.

The Olympic, world and European medallist will, however, have to fight off the likes of Italian Vanessa Ferrari, who claimed her fourth European Championships gold medal this year in Sofia, and Canadian Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games beam champion Ellie Black.

Competing for Britain will be London 2012 Olympian and this year's European team silver medallist Rebecca Tunney, who is returning from injury.
