British Henley victories are sign of things to come at London 2012

Andy_Triggs-Hodge_and_Peter_Reed_04-07-11July 4 - Four British crews recorded victories on the final day of the Henley Royal Regatta which bode exceedingly well for London 2012, although 39-year-old Greg Searle, a member of the eight which was narrowly beaten by the German crew at last year's World Championships, was unable to finish the final day with a winning feeling as his crew were beaten once again by their German opponents, racing at the Regatta as Hansa Dortmund.





Powell warning for Bolt ahead of World Championships

Asafa_Powell_wins_in_Lausanne_June_30_2011June 30 - Asafa Powell has raised, once again, the possibility that he might get the better of his fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt at this year's IAAF World Championships by winning the 100 metres at the Samsung Diamond League meeting in Lausanne in 9.78sec, the fastest time in the world this year.
