Christine Bleakley_Cadbury_party_poperDecember 20 - Members of the public had the chance to begin Christmas with a bang by getting their hands on one of 50 pairs of tickets, released by Cadbury's from a giant party popper, to the London 2012 Olympic Games at Westfield Stratford today.

TV presenter Christine Bleakley will be on hand to pull the string on the world's biggest party popper – standing at 10 feet tall, and a video of the event is available here.

As well as the tickets, which include a VIP package to potentially see Usain Bolt compete in the final of the 100 metres on August 5, a number of Cadbury's treats will also be on offer.

The party popper is being released from Four Dials, just outside John Lewis, at Westfield Stratford, within sight of the Olympic Stadium.

It is the latest offer from Cadbury's, who are the official treat supplier to the Olympics, to members of the public to help them win tickets to the Games.

Cadbury's are giving away tickets each week as part of their 'spots v stripes' campaign, which seeks to get the nation involved in competition and playing games in the build up to London 2012.
