Alexandra Burke_19_JuneJune 20 - Rebecca Ferguson, Alexandra Burke, Amy MacDonald and Alyssa Reid make up the impressive bill of female acts unveiled to perform at this summer's BT London Live concerts – one of the city's biggest free celebrations of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The four female artists will join the array of music stars already announced and will take to the stage at gigs taking place at Hyde Park and Victoria Park from July 31 to August 5.

Ferguson, who won the hearts of the nation with her soulful performances on British television talent show The X Factor, kicks off the powerful female line-up at Hyde Park on July 31, performing her hit singles, such as Nothing's Real But Love and other songs from her debut studio album, Heaven.

R&B star Burke (pictured top), a revelation since her rise from The X Factor contestant to fully fledged pop star, is next on the bill as she performs at both Hyde Park and Victoria Park on August 2.

Her music career was launched after she won the ITV show in 2008 and her debut single Hallelujah was the Christmas number one.

Burke's latest album, Heartbreak On Hold, was released this month and is set to top the charts.

Meanwhile, Macdonald (pictured below), one of Europe's biggest selling singer-songwriters who is currently touring the continent, will make her way to Hyde Park on August 3 to perform hits such as This Is The Life, which went to number one in six countries.

Finally, Canadian singer-songwriter Reid, who created a storm following her YouTube video with global pop sensation Justin Bieber, is performing at both Hyde Park and Victoria Park on August 5.

These are the latest acts to add to the extensive catalogue of top solo artists and groups who have already been announced, including Tom Jones, McFly, The Feeling, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast, Paul Carrack, Kenny Thomas and the cast of the Queen musical We Will Rock You.

BT London Live is also hosting two Celebration Concerts in Hyde Park to coincide with the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Duran Duran and Paolo Nutini have been named as acts for the Opening Ceremony Celebration Concert on July 27, while Blur will headline the Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert, also featuring New Order and The Specials, on August 12.

BT London Live aims to provide something for everyone, combining a widespread list of music genres, along with impressive 160-metre widescreens showing action from London 2012 as it happens on the day.

In addition, a spectacular 55-metre high Observation Wheel in Victoria Park will offer breathtaking views of the Olympic Park in Stratford.
