On 7 November, a round table meeting was held at the editorial office of the newspaper 'Olympic World', to which employees of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) were invited. 

The meeting was attended by Hasanaga Rzayev, Head of the Sports Department of the National Olympic Committee, Nazir Rahimov, NOC General Adviser, Anar Bagirov, Head of the International Relations Department, and Elmira Ganjali, Senior Adviser.

The event was also graced by the presence of the 'Olympic World' editorial team, led by the newspaper's Editor-in-Chief and NOC Press Secretary, Murad Farzaliyev, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Aslan Shiraliyev, and other members of the editorial staff.

Introducing the editorial team, Murad Farzaliyev gave an overview of the activities of the 'Olympic World Newspaper' activities and emphasised its important role in promoting the Olympic Movement and sport in Azerbaijan.

He noted that the newspaper has been in circulation since 2001 and has trained more than 40 professional journalists over the years. He underlined the importance of the meeting with NOC employees in promoting mutual and effective cooperation.

The editor-in-chief also noted that 'Olympic World' has an online presence, with daily updates available on its websites, olimpiyadunyasi.com and olimpnews.az.

Hasanaga Rzayev, Head of the Sports Department of the National Olympic Committee, expressed his satisfaction with the cordial meeting and confirmed that the NOC holds the newspaper in high esteem. 

He praised the professionalism and dedication of the newspaper's employees and remarked that 'Olympic World' is widely appreciated by readers.

Nazir Rahimov, Chief Advisor to the NOC, hailed 'Olympic World' as "a unique and essential part of Azerbaijani sports journalism." 

He praised the newspaper for its rich and reliable archive, which serves as a valuable resource for those interested in studying the history of sport and the Olympic movement in Azerbaijan. He wished the newspaper's staff every success in their creative work.
