Austria won the first mixed team event of the Ski Jumping World Cup season in Titisee-Neustadt, where Dawid Kubacki also earned a third solo victory of the campaign.

Stefan Kraft had the best individual jump in Austria's winning team effort, clearing 139 metres for 137.8 points.

Kraft, Marita Kramer, Michael Hayböck and Eva Pinkelnig amassed 985.9 points on the large hill for victory.

Norway were second, buoyed by a mammoth 141m jump for 143.7 points from Halvor Egner Granerud.

Silje Opseth, Anna Odine Strøm and Bendik Jakobsen Heggli helped the team score reach 959.2.

Germany, the host nation, placed third with 945.1.

Katharina Althaus was in that team and emphatically won the sole women's contest in Titisee-Neustadt with the best jump in both rounds.

Opseth was second and the Slovenian Urša Bogataj third.

Two men's World Cup legs were staged, with Anže Lanišek and Dawid Kubacki trading victories.

Slovenia's Lanišek won the first contest, with Kubacki coming second, and the top two was reversed today as the Pole claimed victory.

Germany's Karl Geiger and then Kraft completed the podiums.

Kubacki leads the men's Ski Jumping World Cup standings with 470 points and Lanišek is second on 416.

Althaus is the women's leader on 340 points - four better off than Pinkelnig.
