More than 170 coaches from Saudi Arabia's national sports clubs attended courses involving experts from neighbouring Bahrain.

The Bahrain Olympic Committee's Olympic Academy hosted a number of courses across different locations in Saudi Arabia, which were presented as part of an agreement between the Academy and the Saudi Institute for Leadership Development.

Academy director Nabeel Taha said the courses created good feedback from the sports family in Saudi Arabia, as well as the sports media.

He added that participating coaches had responded positively.

Sessions were presented by Academy instructor, Dr Husain Jaffer.

Ahmed Hafed and Adel Al Asfoor managed the fourth course in Ha’il, while the fifth was conducted by Taha and Mahmood Yateem.

The timetable and venues for the remaining two courses are yet to be determined.
