Bosses at the World Curling Federation (WCF) and Chinese Curling Association (CCA) have agreed a memorandum of understanding before the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing.

The deal will look to promote curling and develop the sport as the country prepares to host the Games.

“We are honoured to sign this memorandum with our friends from China,” said WCF President Kate Caithness.

“This will not only assist them in their aim of developing a legacy of 300 million Chinese people playing winter sports by 2022, but will also help the WCF continue to grow the sport around the world.”
