United States' double world champion Jarryd Wallace excelled at his home International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics Grand Prix in Tempe, beating several high profile domestic rivals to the 100m T43/44 title.

The 25-year-old, who won 200m and relay titles at the 2013 World Championships in Lyon, clocked an impressive time of 10.92 seconds on the second day of action, comfortably beating 200m winner David Prince.

Jerome Singleton ensured a US clean sweep of the podium positions by finishing third, 0.14 seconds behind Prince in 11.52.

Raymond Martin was another home star to excel, winning the men's 100m T34/52/52 in 17.10, then the 400m in 58.02, and then the 1500 in 3:44.33.

This followed on from the 23-year-old's victory in last month's IPC Athletics Marathon World Championships in London.

April Holmes also clinched victory in the women's 100m T43/44 with a time of 13.53 to defeat Canadian 200m champion Marissa Papaconstantinou, while 14-year-old Alexa Halko won the women's 100m T33/34/51/51 in 19.25 and Kym Crosby, Cheri Madsen and Brian Siemann were other other US athletes to enjoy 100m victories on the track.

But the hosts did not have things completely their own way, with Vanessa Low of Germany and Papconstantinou of Canada claiming the respective F42 and F44 long jump titles, with Low also triumphing in the 100m T42/46.

Another prodigious teenage talent, Colombia's 17-year-old Brayan Parra Sandoval, clocked 4:23.35 to win the 1500m T11/12/13/20, while Mexico's Lucero Anahi Vazquez Olvera won the 100m T53 in a time of 19.08.
