Fellow London 2012 Paralympians Nikita Howarth and Rebecca Dubber are also in the squad and they are joined by Jesse Reynolds, who made his major Championships debut at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Swimming World Championships in Montreal last year.

Six-time Paralympic champion Pascoe secured four world titles in Montreal, while 21-year-old Fisher came away from Canada with five world crowns to add to her London 2012 SM11 200 metres individual medley gold.

Howarth, New Zealand's youngest ever Paralympian in London at the age of 13, went on to claim her first world title in the SM7 200m individual medley last year.

Newcomers Georgia Gray, Tayla Clement, Daniel Gaualofa and Chris Arbuthnot will be making their bows on the international stage in Pasadena.

"We are very excited about this team as we believe we have a great depth of experience and enthusiasm," said the team's head coach Jon Shaw.

"The size of this team really shows the work that been going on behind the scenes with the New Zealand Para-swimming programme and we are looking to this event to provide a great testing ground to see where our performances sit on the international stage.

"We believe we have a high chance of success following on from recent results at the NZ Open Swimming Championships."

The 2014 Para-Pan Pacific Swimming Championships are due to take place from August 6 to 10.

The last edition of the event was held in Edmonton, Canada, in 2011 and saw Australia top the medal table with 35 gold, 25 silver and 19 bronze medals, ahead of the United States on 27 gold, 26 silver and 16 bronze while Brazil came third on 24 gold, 13 silver and 14 bronze medals.
