The 20-year-old Pascoe, who added three golds and three silvers from London 2012 to the three golds and silver medal she won at Beijing 2008, took over three tenths of a second off the 50 metres butterfly world record she set at last summer's Paralympics, clocking 29.21sec to smash her previous world record time of 29.57.

Amazingly, Pascoe went on to break the record she had set earlier in the day in the finals, taking almost another second off her world record time, coming in at 28.38.

But the talented Paralympian, winner of the Halberg Award for Disabled Sportsperson of the Year earlier this year, was not finished there, setting her third world record of the week in the 50m freestyle - the event in which she had to make do with silver after losing out to Canada's Summer Mortimer at London 2012- taking two tenths of a second off the world record, clocking a time of 28.01.

"I am really happy with that." said Pascoe.

"I've been waiting for that one for two years.

"It was held by my main rival Summer [Mortimer] so it's nice to say that Summer's out and winter's in,

"It's a personal best for me and my times are up at world record standard so that is what I try to do every time I get in the pool.

"That was a huge personal best and I came out with a world record as well which was a bonus."

Fellow London 2012 gold medallist Fisher, who is also 20, was not to be outdone however, smashing the world record she set in the 50m butterfly in London, coming in at 34.35 to take almost a second off her world record time of 35.12.

But again, Fisher was hungry for more and also managed to break the world record she had set on the same day, setting a record of 33.25.

Mary Fisher has also broken three world records this week and goes in search of another in the 100m breaststroke

And to match Pascoe's achievement, Fisher also took her third world record of the week, taking over 10 seconds off the 200m butterfly world record, finishing in 2min 50.93sec.

"It's been great to be part of it and get such awesome support." she said

"I also had my family, friends and flatmates come up for Wellington so the support has been fantastic."
