The quarter-final line-up at the men's International Basketball Federation (FIBA) AfroCan in Luanda has been finalised, with 2019 semi-finalists Morocco among the four teams who joined the group winners in the last eight.

The four group winners earned automatic places in the quarter-finals, while the other two teams were required to play qualification matches at the Arena Kilamba.

Morocco finished second behind Tunisia in Group C, but are through to a quarter-final against Kenya after a 78-50 thrashing of Cameroon, aided by 13-point contributions from Kevin Bruno Franceschi and Soufiane Benhmine.

Defending champions the Democratic Republic of Congo topped Group D to reach the last eight, and are set to face Nigeria who proved too strong for Gabon with a 71-55 victory.

Rwanda were the only team who finished bottom of their group to progress to the quarter-finals, after a 16-point haul from Dieudonne Ndayisaba Ndizeye inspired them to a 73-62 win against Mozambique.

They are set to face hosts Angola next.

Group A runners-up Ivory Coast completed the quarter-finalists, triumphing 72-58 against Mali to set up a tie with Tunisia.

Teams in the FIBA AfroCan can only field African-based players with the exception of two who can ply their trade elsewhere.

Quarter-finals are set to be played tomorrow, with the tournament running through until Sunday (July 16).
