Twelve of the 14 categories at the year-ending International Judo Federation World Judo Masters are set to feature the world’s top ranked judoka.

The World Judo Tour’s final event of the year, set to begin in Jerusalem, Israel, tomorrow, and run through to Thursday (December 22) has strength in depth across each category.

The under-81 kilograms category features all of the world’s top eight, with the top eight seeds in all categories coming from the world’s top 14.

Home interest will be high in the women’s under-57kg category, where Timna Nelson Levy is the world number one.

Speaking at the Dan-Jerusalem Hotel, where the draw was taking place the IJF’s events director Dr Lisa Allan said: "We are very happy to have twelve out of fourteen world number ones present for this event - to have the crème de la crème, the best of the best to conclude the year on a high note.
