Portugal and Russia are set to face off in the UEFA Futsal Euro 2022 final after both recorded 3-2 wins in the semi-finals against Spain and Ukraine, respectively.

Defending champions Portugal produced a remarkable comeback victory at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam in a rematch of the 2018 and 2010 finals.

Raúl Gómez supplied the finishing touch on a brilliant move involving all four of Spain's outfielders to open the scoring after just 17 seconds.

The seven-time champions then doubled the lead through Chino.

Mellado found his compatriot from a free kick with Chino striking the ball first time with a stunning curling shot to beat André Sousa at his far post.

It took until the 29th minute for Portugal to find the net.

Bruno Coelho, who scored the winner in the 2018 final, converted powerfully from the spot into the top corner to give his side a way back into the match with just over 10 minutes remaining.

A minute later the scores were level courtesy of a Zicky Té shot through a sea of players which beat a diving Didac Plana.

Té then broke Spanish hearts with a minute left as he turned in a fizzing cross from Erick to send Portugal into their third final.

Earlier on in the capital, Russia came up against Ukraine and quickly took the lead.

Anton Sokolov benefitted from a fortunate deflection to score in the second minute.

Andrei Afanasyev made it two after 14 minutes before Ukrainian Yevgen Siryi pegged them back just 54 seconds later.

Artem Niyasov then scored one of the goals of the tournament just past the half hour mark.

Nando sent a long ball across to him which he connected with a flying bicycle kick volley from outside the area to make it 3-1.

Danyil Abakshyn offered a glimpse of hope to Ukraine with a goal after 34 minutes.

With 70 seconds remaining Ukraine were awarded a penalty.

Petro Shoturma stepped up to try and level the match but was denied by the legs of Dmitri Putilov as he sent Russia into their seventh final.
