The British National Squash Championships, Manchester Open and the British Open will all be welcoming spectators next month.

The British Championships will be first up, set to take place from August 3 to 6 at the National Squash Centre in Manchester.

Defending champions Sarah-Jane Perry and James Willstrop are expected to play alongside a host of other British squash talents.

Several of the world’s leading players will then join the action at the same venue when the Manchester Open is held from August 9 to 13.

Egyptian duo Mohamed ElShorbagy and Nour El Tayeb, who are the men's and women's world numbers two and three respectively, took the titles last year when the PSA World Tour returned from a six-month suspension due to the global COVID-19 pandemic with the Manchester Open.

Closing out an exciting month for squash fans in the north of England is the British Open in Hull, which makes its return to the PSA World Tour for the first time since 2019.

It will be a Platinum event this time around, from August 16 to 22.

ElShorbagy and women’s world number two Nouran Gohar won the longest-running tournament in professional squash in 2019 and the Egyptian pair are expected to return.

Top-ranked British players such as Tesni Evans, Joel Makin, Perry and Willstrop are also set to play.

Both the Manchester Open and British Open were moved to later in the year to allow more fans to attend, as restrictions on spectators at live events have been significantly eased in England.
