Defending champions and hosts Czech Republic maintained their 100 per cent record at the Men's Softball European Championship with two more wins in Ledenice and Sezimovo Ústí.

In their morning game, home runs from Milan Sulc and Jakub Hajny helped the Czechs score three runs in the first and fifth innings to perform a 7-0 shut-out against Croatia.

Later in the day, the Czechs thumped Slovakia 11-1 and Hajny once again scored a home run to help put his team up 5-0 after three innings.

The match was conceded after five of the seven innings.

Croatia then recovered to hammer Sweden 17-0, with Alen Magdalenic getting the one home run of the game in the second inning, before contributing to his team's 10-run score in the third.

Also winning big on the day were France, who scored an incredible 31 runs in their two games with high-scoring wins over Israel and Lithuania.

Opening the third day, France were held by Israel in the first two innings for just one run, but scored four in the third and eight in the fourth to end the game 13-1.

Despite not recording a single home run, five players scored two runs each.

Jacques Boucheron ended the game, tripling to right centre to allow three of his team mates to score and put the result beyond doubt.

Later, they recorded a similar result against Lithuania winning 18-6, but the game looked wrapped up after the first innings when the French went 10-2 up partly thanks to two home runs.

Cyril Grimaldi got his second home run of the game in the third inning and his team scored another five in the fourth end.

Sweden also defeated Lithuania 13-2 early in the day partly thanks to the three runs and the home run of Gillan Andre.

The Netherlands defeated Israel by the same scoreline, with Jeff Delfina's sole home run playing its part to split the sides in the fifth inning.

The Dutch scored a total of 11 in the sixth and seventh innings as the Israelis crumbled late.

In the late game Denmark defeated The Netherlands 5-1.
