Egypt’s Fares Dessouky and England’s Sarah-Jane Perry have scooped the men's and women's Professional Squash Association (PSA) Player of the Month award, respectively, for December.

Dessouky and Perry have been named winners of the monthly prizes following their triumphs at the Black Ball Open in Cairo at the end of 2020.

The Egyptian came back from two games down to beat compatriot and world number one Ali Farag to claim the biggest victory of his career.

His success on home soil propelled him back into the top 10 of the PSA world rankings for January.
