Dessouky eventually prevailed 11-13, 13-11, 11-8, 11-7 after a marathon match which lasted 76 minutes.

The Egyptian clean sweep was confirmed by second seed Tarek Momen who beat Wales' Joel Makin, the seventh seed in straight games - 11-7, 11-2, 16-14 in 52 minutes.

The semi-finals take place on the Glass Court tomorrow with Farag facing Asal before Dessouky plays Momen.
