Colombia qualified two duos for the doubles semi-finals on day two of the World Bowling Women's Championship in Las Vegas.

Rocio Restrepo and Maria Rodriguez were the top qualifiers at the South Point Bowling Plaza as they achieved a combined total of 2,758 points and an overall average of 229.5.

Restrepo rolled 1,381 and Rodriguez shot 1,377 as they showed good form going into the last four.

"We started a little slow, but we knew when the lanes started to break down we had a chance to give it a good run," said Restrepo.

"Maria had a good look and when she started striking, I got loose.

"We trusted each other's moves and I think that was the reason we did so well."

The four pairs registering the highest scores from the qualification squads all booked a spot in the semi-finals.
