Papua New Guinea Taekwondo Association has sent four elite athletes to South Korea to participate in a training camp.
Henry Ori, Steven Tommy, Bobby Willie and Max Kassman will participate in specialised fight and ring craft training at the Taekwondowon Academy in Muju, as reported by the Papua New Guinea Post-Courier.
Kassman represented Papua New Guinea at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The camp is due to last three weeks, with athletes from 16 other countries also expected to attend.
Ori, Tommy, Willie and Kassman are due to be in action at the World Taekwondo Championships in Manchester in May.
They will then compete at June's Presidents Cup in Australia before travelling to Samoa for the Pacific Games in July.
Papua New Guinea Taekwondo Association aims to contribute at least four gold medals towards Team Papua New Guinea's efforts on foreign soil.
