The seminars, hosted by IFBB chairman Mauricio de Arruda Campos, were held at the headquarters of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee in Johannesburg, as well as at the Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban and the offices of 4Ward Design in Cape Town.

The seminars, which were free to visit, were held in front of several members of the media and were also open to IFBB judges, officials, athletes, trainers and coaches.

The seminars were supported by South African Bodybuilding Federation (BBSA) President Wayne Price and BBSA medical advisor Riaan Barnard, a representative of the National Anti-Doping Agency of South Africa. 

Both delivered speeches at the events.

The IFBB claim they are one of the only fitness and bodybuilding organisations to be fully signed up with the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The IFBB will be returning to South Africa later this year when the third Arnold Classic is held in Johannesburg from May 18 to 20.
