The World Curling Federation (WCF) have begun the registration process for a full programme of training camps and courses in 2018.

Five different camps and courses will take place over the course of this summer with the first four all taking place in Füssen, Germany.

The first of these will be an Ice Technical Course, which will run from June 28 to July 2.

This will be followed by an Advance Umpire Course from July 3 to 4 and the Introduction to Instruction Course from July 5 to 6.

The final course in Füssen will be the 20th WCF Junior Curling Camp, which will take place from July 8 to 14.

To mark the Füssen camps, a new logo has been designed in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the training events taking place there.

WCF President Kate Caithness said she was looking forward to the camps in Füssen.

"The camps and courses we run in Füssen each year are a highlight of the curling calendar and the spaces always fill up very quickly," she said.

"Our development team has done an outstanding job to grow the junior camp year-on-year and make it a memorable part of many young athletes' careers.

"We look forward to the continuation of this very successful junior camp over the coming years."

The fifth and final training camp of the year will be the 12th WCF Adult Curling Camp, which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, from August 26 to 30.
